Life Here
A Home Built for Recovery
Steady Path Home is more than a place to sleep. It's a community of women supporting each other through the work of rebuilding.
Daily Life
Structure, Community, and Space to Heal
Life at Steady Path Home is grounded in routine, mutual respect, and shared accountability. Residents maintain their own schedules while contributing to a household that runs on trust.
We believe that a calm, consistent home environment is one of the most powerful supports in early recovery. Everything here is designed with that in mind.
House Standards
How We Live Together
Substance-Free Living
All residents agree to maintain a substance-free lifestyle. This shared commitment is the foundation of the community and helps everyone feel safe and supported.
Respect for the Home
Residents are expected to keep shared spaces clean, contribute to household chores, and treat the home and each other with respect.
Curfew & Guest Policy
A curfew is in place to support rest and stability. Overnight guests are not permitted. Daytime visitors are welcome with advance notice.
Financial Responsibility
Rent is paid weekly. Residents are expected to stay current with payments and communicate proactively if circumstances change.
Active Participation
Residents are encouraged to be engaged in their recovery — whether through work, meetings, outpatient programs, or other meaningful activity.
Community Accountability
We ask residents to show up for each other — to be honest, to be present, and to contribute to a home where everyone can feel safe.
Wellness
Activities That Support the Whole Person
Recovery touches every part of life. These optional activities are available to residents who want to explore them.
Weekly Yoga
A weekly yoga class is available to all residents — optional, welcoming, and led by the founder, a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200).
Mindfulness & Meditation
Simple practices to quiet the mind and develop awareness of thoughts and feelings — woven into the rhythm of daily life here.
Walking & Being Outside
Fresh air and movement are free and always available. Quincy Center and the waterfront are close by.
Journaling & Reflection
Writing can be a powerful tool for processing emotions and tracking your own growth.
Community Connection
Shared meals in the formal dining room, conversations, and simply being around others who understand can be deeply healing.
Rest & Routine
Building a consistent daily rhythm — sleep, meals, movement — is foundational to lasting recovery.
Wellness activities are informal and optional. Steady Path Home is a shared residence, not a treatment program.
Recovery Pathways
Your Path, Your Choice
We support residents in pursuing whatever recovery pathway works for them. Whether you attend 12-step meetings, work with a therapist, or follow a different approach entirely, we respect your autonomy.

A Note About Our Services
Steady Path Home is a private shared residence — not a licensed treatment facility, clinical program, or medical provider. Residents are responsible for arranging their own outside support, whether that's therapy, outpatient treatment, medication management, or recovery meetings. We provide the home. You bring the work.
